I have an 03 5AT with stock breaks. Sometimes when I stop they squeak, Is this normal or do I need new pads?

A few suggestions. First, "Skweaking" isn't a word. You're likely to get more responses if you use the correct forms.

Second, even if you used the correct form, a thread titled "Squeaking" isn't likely to attract more attention. Try to use a more descriptive thread title.

Squeaking, groan, and moan are the same thing, a sound made by pad vibration just a different frequency..........stick then slip then stick from different materials in the pad composition, each of which has a different friction vs speed vs temperature characteristic.

That is the secret of pads chemically combing 50 or so components to create what you want to achieve.

Measure the frequency and distribution of the squeel and you can determine whether it is primarily cause by pads or rotor:

If you car still maitains a warranty, take it into the dealership. My brother just had his rotors and pads replaced free of charge via warranty work. This maybe the case with you, as well. Good luck!
