Caliper clearance

With all the users on this forum I'm sure there is just a plethora of information and someone's gotta know the answer to this question. Are there different brake calipers for the sport compared to the journey or AWD? Or for the sport 6mt vs the sport with paddle shifters?

I know this is a difference for some automakers, just not sure about the G, and this makes a difference when ordering wheels so just wanted to check.

Thanks.

While we are on this topic... Do you guys think that the older model brake calipers fit on our new 07?? is there any infinity part guy here??? can you guys do a cross reference to see if the it will fit. the reason behind this is if it fits than we can use the BBK from the older models with no problem.thanks in advance

The calipers / rotors on the sport are different than the set on the Journey and AWD versions. The sport (5AT and 6MT) has the same brake configuration.

I do know the 07 Sport has bigger rotors than the other models. The Sport has 13.0" front and rear rotors whereas the other 07 models have 12.6" front and 12.1" rears. So I would assume the calipers are also a different size.

I would bet that the mounting points for the calipers are the same on all the different trim levels, but the calipers themselves are different. That's the case with all of the pre-07 G35 coupes and sedans. They share the same suspension and mounting points. The calipers and rotors are different.
