Rust issues with R1concept rotors

Well, today was the first day that it has rained since I've had my rotors from R1concepts installed. As I get out to check out the rotors, I notice EXTREME rusting on the rotors (where there is no pad contact) as well as in the slots and cross drilled holes. I thought these rotors are supposed to be zinc plated to prevent these issues from arising.

Did anyone else have this experience? This is pretty embarassing to see on the rotors. I've only had these rotors on for two weeks and I'm already searching for something else. I will take pictures when I get a chance, its still raining outside

I bought the e-line premium rotors btw.

Laughing at other's misfortunes or problems...says a lot about you doesn't it And as for what we expect...we expected it to be zinc plated. I still don't find the humor. Must be that I lack a funny bone or two.

I already PMed Sam from R1concepts, I doubt he checks it on weekends so we'll see how his customer service is when he does respond.

Why you so angry bro? You must enjoy insulting others to make yourself happy don't you. I hope now you feel better and we can move on. I saw something that looked like a good deal (and so did others who bought these rotors)...turns out that they weren't as good as I thought they would be.

Do you see me b!tching or moaning about it? No, I just posted to see if anyone else was having a problem with them as well. If you read my first post, I'm already looking for replacement rotors.

Just FYI man, look at your responses. Your just making yourself look like an @ss with a bad attitude.

(p.s. it's "you're")
I don't recall buying these rotors from ebay. I could have sworn I wrote that I got them because others on the forum bought them and they had good results.

Apparently I got what I paid for. That's true. Just fyi though...I'm not much into the cars as others here are. I didn't know how much rotors went for or which ones to really get. I was just told that I needed to get new rotors b/c my oem ones were close to failing. With that in mind, I saw the group buy and figured why not get these rotors that people are buying as well.

No need to breath down other people's neck about making a mistake. Money is not really an object to me, but like I said, I don't know much about rotors. So if me buying the rotors makes me look stupid...I guess we got a few other stupid people on the board. Does that make you feel better now? I guess you can sleep better tonight knowing that you're better than me in every single way. You the man homie.

You are right about the grammer part.

Rotors rusty?

Hold on a Sec, how is the rotors performance? I really dont care if it rusted after non-use, that happens to most rotors. Someone please state what brand of rotor never rust. As far as the rotors being cheap, how do they actually perform?
And another thing an infiniti is not that expensive so u A**holes who keep insulting someones purchase because of its price should shut up and get a lambo if u really got that much money.

These rotors actually are better than oem rotors in regards to stopping. We got hit with the Nor'easter up here and I had to drive around a lot. Stopping was great (I have hawk hps pads on though).

Best of all...no squealing.

It looks like the rust is in the slots and holes. I don't think driving around will get rid of that. I wish that it would though

Dude, your just adding fuel to the fire Just let him talk his $hit and move on. I'm not offended by what he says...I just don't understand his anger or need to make me feel stupid. But if making me feel stupid makes him happy...than I'm all for it. You can't put a price on happiness.
