Coilovers, sway bars and rear camber kit installation

I was quoted $500 plus tax to install Tein Basic coilovers, Hotchkis sway bars and the SPC rear camber kit. Is this reasonable or does it sounds little steep? Thanks.

Hmmmm . . . Let's see . . . Approximately some 2 hours to install the Tein Basic itself with a road test thrown in, some additional height adjustments, if so desired/required . . . Better make that 2-1/2 to 3 hours to assure that it's done properly. They're going to charge to at least a whole hour to install the sway bars. Figure another 1 hour to install the SPC set-up. I am assuming that you will be installing the toe bolt, as well. Including taxes, at $90.00/hour shop rate . . . That sounds about right. Please be reminded that you will need an alignment as well.

It can . . . But it will not be, unfortunately.

Thanks Andy. I'll probably be taking advantage of the Firestone lifetime alignment. When do you recommend getting an alignment? Should I allow the coilovers to settle for a couple weeks?

Based on what you are installing, I would get an alignment after everything is installed . . . Considering that your G will have a much lower stance, after the Tein Basic install, and that the install of the new camber arms will throw your existing camber waaay out, even if they adjust the new arms to the same length as the old ones . . . The new camber will be way off. I would have an alignment done right away to be on the safe side.
