Collapsed suspension

I pulled my '05 sedan 6MT w/ sports suspension out of the garage I noticed it sitting a little funny. I looked around and noticed there’s a considerable gap between the left rear then all the all the others, about a 1-inch gap. Could the left rear have collapsed? There’s about 55k on the OEM suspension.
Has anyone had a problem with any of the OEM suspension parts breaking down? As much as I would like to get some kick a$$ coil overs, I’ll be trading the sedan in at the end of the year. However, I don’t want to be riding around on broke down suspension as I do some long distance driving twice a month. Any help will be appreciated!

When you mean "considerable gap" do you mean it is sitting 1" lower or 1" higher? I assume lower...but if it's higher, then maybe the right suspension is the problem one or the front suspension.

Open your trunk and push down on the edge where it means the bumper....if it doesn't bounce correctly (compare it to the right side), you may have a blown shock.

As a side note historically Infiniti/Nissan [and every brand] shocks [a wear item if they don't leak] have shown progressive declines - a replacement interval of 4 years/60k is about right.

They are usually half a stiff on rebound as brand new.
