i want to drop it.

i just got some new black wheels, for my DP 5AT sedan, (i know black on DP), but i always wanted black, i want to drop it, what shall i do.

right now the front is about 2.5 inches from the top of the tread, and the rear is 2, ill post pics when i can, i just need suggestions, and ideas

350z springs?
or coupe springs? or anything else

If you just want to drop it go with 350z h-techs by Tein or get Tein basic coilovers. They will both provide you with a happy drop.

if you can afford it .. get coilovers .. you can adjust the height to your liking

well theres the problem, the moneys not there, and to see and easy drop by just going to the market place and buyin 75$ springs is very tempting

well i got z htechs a few months ago, and the drop is perfect for me. scraped just once on the end of a kind of steep decline, and the look is much better.

btw, how many people needed to replace stock shocks with htechs? i'm wondering if i need to get tokico shocks.

what size rims did you get? nontheless, Z springs will drop it very nicely....what year sedan do you have...and does it have factory sport package? those are things to consider to help us make your decision..also..you do have people lined up to do the job correct? If funds are low you need to take installation into account as well...

z springs are inexpensive and makes the car look good.. they also have the sae spring rate as te sedas current springs so ride quality will not by sacrificed.. you can find alot of 350z owners parting with their stock springs on here or my350z.net

For a coupe the drop might be good. For a sedan its not so great, the front sits much higher than the rear. I even installed spacers in the rear to keep it from tucking while the front still has 2 fingers of space. Next time around I do plan on putting 245/40/19 rather than the 245/35/19s on there now.

In the picture I don't think the suspension is fully settled, however it never got much better anyways.

Still my #1 choice is H&R springs which are 1.3F 1.2R and give you a nice level look. They are progressive so the ride is nice in town but gets stiff when you hit the hard corners.

Here is a small picture showing the drop of my car on Z-springs..i know its not the best picture...but you get the idea of the ride height....perfect IMO.

Do you have any more pics? Those look like the split 6-spoke DPE's I was looking at.
