OEM Unrevised Z susp - Rough Ride/Comfort Issue

Just replaced non-sport suspension w/ OEM un-revised Z suspension on my 2006 G sedan...

Ride is definitely stiffer and height is lower, but now, after nearly a month of having it installed, the ride is definitely rough

it bounces a lot and handling has suffered somewhat - it definitely did not feel comfortable on the way to Vegas due to the constant bouncing/jarring

should i...

replace rear shocks only with ones from revised Z suspension?

replace all shocks with new tokico d-specs for Z?

replace springs with eibach Z springs (which I have) << will this drop the sedan lower than the regular Z springs?

advice is very much appreciated...

Your shocks are probably shot. The unrevised Z springs have the same spring rate of the sports suspension. Your nonsport shocks can't handle the difference. Look into sports suspension on the market place.

I have a complete Z suspension shocks and all - not just springs

I took out the entire non-sport suspension and i know that the sedan sport suspension would have been OK with the un-revised Z springs.

The unrevised Z shocks are notorious for bounce. That's why Nissan revised them sometine in '04. Ditch your unrevised Z shocks and get either some revised ones or aftermarket shocks such as Tokico D-Spec or Koni Sports.

I figured as much... man, the ride to Vegas was brutal. At first, the ride didn't seem all too bad... then it went to total crap.

I'm looking for revised shocks or Tokico D-specs as of this reply.

Anyone else care to confirm, or otherwise comment on an un-revised Z spring + revised Z shock or D-spec setup?

PM Gsedan35 and talk to him. He's one of the suspension gurus around here and my350.com and can give you more than you want to know on this subject.

Way ahead of you... just waiting for a reply.

While I'm waiting, I'm looking around for good deal on D-specs...

Regardless of what springs you get, upgrading to the Tokicos will give a better ride depending on how you set them.
