Ride quality

Hey all. I am getting ready to pick up some new springs. From what I have been searching on here, I see that alot of people like the tien springs. Can anyone tell me how the ride quality is for either the S or H techs compared to stock? The eibachs seem pretty popular as well, but I have heard they give you a really bumpy ride.

i have eibachs on my tokico d-specs and if they are setup right the ride is awesome and the car sticks to the road very well

Look, I am a newbie to this website, but I am not a noob to forums. If you read what I originally posted, you will see that I said, from what I have been searching. I have been searching for two days. All I can find is information on camber issues, and how much of a drop you will get from different springs. I am looking for ride quality information on the tech or eibach springs versus stock.

Thanks skublueg35, just what I was looking for. Do you have the sportlines, and the pro kit?

Ride quality is totally subjective. Would you like the said to be stiffer than what you already have or softer? Thus, I asked you the specs of your G. That will afford others an understanding of what you are riding on currently . . . And be able to offer you better suggestions.

drew, just ignore that ****. There are a few people on here that only post "Search for it" comments.

Anyway, I had the TEIN H Techs on for a while and the ride feels essentailly the same as stock. Look at my sig. to see what they went on. The Eibach Pro kit is supposed to be very nice ride too from what my friend with an 06 350Z says. And the drop on the 350z with his 20" Volks looks amazing.

I eventually went with coilovers for the adjustability, only reason.

Here, the following link should provide you with ample information for your consideration.

When referring to Tein springs, whether they are either the S or H-Tech series, members should be specific in mentioning whether the said springs are for the G or 350Z. There is a big difference in front and rear springs rates, which affects the perceived ride quality.

Many members, whom seek a firmer and lower stance, fail to specify the particular set-up that they are using . . . And this may or may not attribute to misleading information.

Andy2434 - Thanks brother. I have the 6mt. I like the H techs, but I think I am going to go slighty lower because I only have 19 inch rims. From what I have searched on here, they are a very subtle drop. My choices as of now are S techs, h and R's and eibachs. The eibachs, and H and R's are quite a bit more expensive then the S tech's, that is why I was asking about ride quality, but the drop they provide is about the same.

Lekker droom - No sweat man. I know how it feels to go into a thread and have someone ask a complety rediculous question that is garunteed to have been asked before like, will I have camber issues if I lower my car 2 inches. Besides, I did search. I didn't find anything about someone saying that they switched to h and R's and the ride quality was horrible. If I did, I wouldn't have asked the original question.

If you go with the (Z) H-Techs and do the rear spring mount mod (shaving off 3/8 " for even drop). Your front spring rate will be a touch stiffer than
OEM and your rears will be a touch softer than OEM. That being said, you
would be able to use your OEM shocks as long as there not shot.

My friend has that set-up on his 05 with the 19's (Sport) and rides to "me"
like stock. There are plenty of pics on here with that set-up.

Eibachs IMO require D=Specs

Thanks people. I tell you guys what. Searching isn't always the best thing though. I have found some people say the S techs suck because the suffer from sagging issues in a year, but other people say they are great and have had them for two years with no problems. Then I found one forum where they found some people selling fake S techs. Man....if I wasn't so ****, buying springs wouldn't be this hard. It is going to be either h and r and eibachs.
