Advice on Kiriu rotors?

Hi folks - I'm looking to replace my original rotors (non-Brembo). I wanted to go with plain Brembo's, but they seem to be on national backorder from Tirerack and other sources. My sales rep is suggesting Kiriu as an OEM-equivalent substitution. Much cheaper, but any experiences? (Sorry sports fans - not looking for anything beyond plain rotors! No slots, drilled, etc.)

What about a Stoptech or RacingBrake kit?

I believe Kiriu is an oem supplier of rotors for Infiniti. With that said I replaced my rear rotors with a Kiriu set and no problems at all. Not that I expected any. And they were damn cheap at $50 a rotor. This is where I bought mine.

Old post but another consideration if someone is looking for this today, look at EBC OEM replacement rotors. For non-Brembo your choices are a long list and you should be able to get down to $50/rotor if cost is main consideration.

You're highly unlikely to turn the fronts ever, pads and rotors wear about the same rate for average use, so IDK why you'd rule out slotted. Drilled, yes, but slotted I'd consider. I did look at Kiriu but was unable to find them for the OEM Brembo '03-04 Coupe, and the set I did find that might have fit was $70/rotor. EBC USR series, you can find for under $200/pair for fronts. EBC Redstuff pads are a significant improvement over OEM non-Brembo or Brembo OEM (those pads ain't Brembo pads), far less dust and better braking power and modulation.

Lots of other choices out there, I just found again that EBC like Powerslot represents a pretty good choice for price/performance balance.

I have the Centric Premium blank rotors on the front of my Brembo coupe and have been extremely pleased with them in terms of performance, especially at the price (~$65/rotor). Grip, feel and run true just like the OEM's did with nary a squeal to be heard.

That's good to hear, what are you running for pads?

I run OEM Brembo pads. The dust sucks, but the cold bite is great.
