i have to say, these sway bars are impressive. I have them set at med/med, and the g handles like a bandit now. theres is almost no body roll whatsoever, and when the rear kicks out its predictable, not scary. My favorite is taking jug handles merging on to a highway, and i did 75 around the jug, and didn't feel like i was at the limit of the cars capabilities. i normaly do 45-55 around jugs and the car would have all sorts of unstable movements. Any way i recomend these to anyone on the market to get new sways, and im running with the stock bushings.....so whats next on the mod list? I have rims, sways, 06 headlights, intake, crossdrilled brembo rotors, no drop cause tristate area no good for the g, but i really need some direction in mods, lemme here some suggestions
wtf? whats this line for?
im torn between stillen and hotchkis. but thanks for the info.
that was my desicion too i just went with stillen, you probably cant go wrong with either, any suggestions for next mod....i got the bug

So your saying that the "unstable movements" no longer happen with the sway bars installed? That's not normally something that sway's cure, they are ment to adjust the at the limit balance, better dampning and or keeping off the bump stops make more sense as a cure for that. Which brings me to what I'd say to do next, better dampning and question if you have enough spring stiffness to meet your hearts desire.Originally Posted by fabulustt7

Either sways will be about the same; go for which ever is the better price. They are the best suspension bang for the buck you will find.
so your saying i should change out the springs? Wont that give me a drop? I really dont want to be lower, i can barely get up my driveway now with the oems without coming in on an angle, but yes it feels like the car is much more stable on harder turns, their is not much roll anymore..

Not that you "should" just mentioning it because it was something that I found to be a productive thing to change. Based on your comments above, don't worry about it. Though if the time comes they're way's to increase roll stiffness that are not sway bar related without lowering, but again don't worry about that. IMO, focus on improving shock dampning with either Koni SA shocks or Tokico D-spec DA shocks, I mean as a "what's next" sort of thing.
sounds like a plan, i'll do my shocks next....what about a front strut bar....wouldnt that be a good improovement too?

go with stillen. hotchkis do not have collars on them, and they tend to slide left-right. i had to spend $40 on custom aluminum collars on my hotchkis. now they don't slide, but they knock. it finally got fixed by Mach3 - they put foam between the collars and the bushings holding the sways.

I believe Hotchkis revised their new bars with welded on collars so that's not a factor anymore.

I been riding these stillen for a week now and im craving more out of them i know that they are set at med/med in front and rear but i wantmore of a feeling like my car is on rails while turning, im noticing a little looseness in the front, should i stiffen up the front, or stiffen up both the rear and front?
