Recommendations for lowering springs please :)
I'm looking for some lowering springs... I'd be willing to pay a bit extra for higher quality or brand, but I still want to keep the price down.. soooo, if you have a reco, please put brand, price, and link if you know a cheap place for them
oh, and i'd prefer not to lower it toooo much... i dont want to die over speed bumps.. like .8" in front and 1.x" in the back? my 04 has 18's right now
much thanks!

need more info please.
what are your intentions for these springs? just for looks?
do you prefer a softer or stiffer ride?
have you researched camber correction kits at all? how much are you willing to spend on camber correction kits, if any at all?

umm, id like to say both looks and a softer ride... im not sure how much i'd spend, i think its more like whats available and the general range.
i really havent much time to research on chamber kits, but if theyre not much more than springs and give better results, i dont mind going for them
sorry that may not be enough info for you, but i dont have a great knowledge of what to expect
im thinking under 300 but once again, variable depending on teh benefits to cost ratio
thanks!
300 bucks will barely get you springs/install. the rear camber kit will be about 250-300 installed - depending where you go.
the h-techs are going to provide you with a subtle/conservative drop and are pretty soft..

well, i dont think i want to lower more than 1" because I want to keep above the ground a fair amount.. i found these 2 spring sets, for $180... what do you guys think?
Tein S-Tech Springs are an excellent step towards suspension tuning. They offer a 1.2" drop in the front and a 0.9" drop in the rear for a more aggressive appearance. Their spring rate is:
Front: 6.4 kg/mm / 358 lbs/in
Rear: 4.9 kg/mm / 274 lbs/in
or
Tein H-Tech Springs offer a perfect combination of lowering, handling, and comfort. H-Tech springs are not as aggressive as other brands and models but still offer you a lowered ride with better handling, with an emphasis on ride comfort.
They offer a 0.6" drop in the front and a 0.3" drop in the rear for a slightly more aggressive appearance while keeping you well above the ground. Their spring rate is:
Front: 5.8 kg/mm / 324 lbs/in
Rear: 4.7 kg/mm / 263 lbs/in
same brand, but just mostly wondering if .6, .3" drops are even worth it..
that, and izmir noted that i needed chamber kit if lowering more than 1"... the first kit lowers the front 1.2 but not the back... would i still need a kit?
thanks!

dump? as in.... lower a lot? or dump as in... they are garbage?
my buddy has the sportlines on his and its a pretty big drop but the prokit is fairly conservative.

the h techs are very conservative...chances are that you won't need a camber kit, but note that you'll have a little more wear on your tires. but imo, a camber it is so cheap (for the rear at least) that it will pay for itself soon enough.
