Well, as they said ... I don't believe there's a part number for it.

When I spoke with Nissan they told me I needed to buy an entire new subframe. Not sure if anything has changed since I installed the solids and that was maybe a year ago.

bumping an old thread....while installing my new hubs and wheel bearings last night, I saw the differential bushing leaking. Anyone else have experience w/ the solid SPL one?

detriments of not replacing it?

I'm going to look into mine when my car is up on the rack next month. I'll know more then.

As for the solid one, you will get a lot more drivetrain noise and vibration but otherwise it's a good choice.

The Picture I see is blurry. Can you get a better pic. Cause I got the part number for the bearing (#7) 381200C000(Rear) and 381400C000(front) for the rear. I got this off all data.

I was changing my rotors and pads last weekend and noticed my diff bushing is leaking too. Has anybody replaced theirs with the OEM part? How much did it cost? Are there any drawbacks for not replacing it?

doesn't appear to be easily replaceable - i just let it leak. so far no [other] problems.

When it went bad on my 350Z they only sold an entire subframe, they didn't sell the bushing separately. Not sure if it's the same on the g35 but I'm guessing it's a safe bet.

Did you end up replacing the subframe? How much did it cost? Seems like a lot of labor involved.

Replacing leaky rear subframes has been a normal situation since the 1990 Q45. Eventually everyone of them wears out and leaks silicone isolation fluid. Of course the early models were more robust and lasted 10-12 years.

Didn't replace the subframe, I put in the solid bushings from from SPL so I'd never have to worry about it again.

I'm going with an SPL solid bushing too.
