Help: Crooked rear wheel due to accident

Due to an accident the bottom part of my right rear wheel was pointing inward(pictured below). After taking the wheel off the only damaged part I could find was the lateral arm back(pictured below) I replaced it thinking that should solve the problem. Now the wheel points inward towards the rear(pictured below) I thought maybe the lower control arm(it holds the spring) might be causing the new problem but upon close inspection I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I'm not sure what part needs to be replaced. Can anyone offer any advice.

thanks

I thought a positive camber was when the top of the wheel is titled away from the car which went away after I replaced the lateral arm back. The wheel now tilts sideways towards the rear as shown in the 3rd picture of my first post.

if i were you, i would take it to a shop before you do any more damage to the internasl in the rear of the car. i would bet that there are a lot of things you cant see are pushed out of whack.

I think you should take it to an alignment shop to get it on a rack. Even the slightest bend on the arm can generate that kind of toe. Or you could have just adjusted your toe when you went and swapped your lateral arm.

um...rather than DIY, I'd take it to the mechanic and get some professional advice. If the axle's bent, this will just be the beginning of your problems. What did you do again?

did you check to see if your strut is in line, you could have bent the actual shock..... just my two cents

f

p.s. my guess is that he ran into a curb or something simple like that.....

all too frequent

Howdy guys:

It looks like others have experienced what I did over the weekend. My drift went bad and I smacked the driver rear wheel into curb at @ 35mph. Wheel is bent lower in and under.

Haven't checked everything (axle, rods, etc.) but anyone have an idea of worse case scenario estimate I can expect from the shop?

Thanks
