$150 Alignement at dealer worth it?

My dealer wants $150 for a wheel alignement for 05, 6MT. I can get it done at a tire store for $80. Is the extra $ worth spending?

I only paid like 80 something. It was 133 for an alignment and having TPS reset. They charge 1/2 hour labor for the programming.

way too much. a 4 wheel alignment should cost around 75-85 bucks at most.

+1 for firestone alignments!

lol firestone sounds like a great deal.. esp if you have a set of stockers.. just do an alignment every once in a while =P

$75ish is about right for an alignment..

i can attest to that cuz i've done every single one!!!

A one time should run you between $70-$80 at any shop, even the dealer. The firestone Lifetime alignment really is a great deal, it pays for itself after 3 alignments and you can get it done as often as you'd like.

This is only true at this particular firestone though, most I wouldn't let come within 50ft of my wheels, let alone do my alignment no matter how cheap it is

haha, i guess you're right, i know Calvin doesnt trust anyone but me working on his car. And when you own the same car that you're working on, you do everything you would as if it was your own, not that i dont do that for every car i work on, but sadly i cant say the same for every other mechanic out there.
