Well, I pussed out and went back to the coupe springs out back. The Z springs were just a bit to jumpy for me to deal with around town. Thank God they're so easy to swap out.

Here's the G on coupe 19"s, low rear offset:

for the record, my car is an auto (not sure if it's more front heavy than the 6mt), but I do also have a full size 17" spare in the trunk.
Useful pics and info. I'll have the same setup basically when I'm done. Just worried about the hopping though. Maybe the Z shocks will help.

Does anyone know if I might be able to sqeeze 15mm spacers on this setup?

I want an even drop with z springs front and g coupe rears.

Z springs front(1"drop):

can anyone confirm the colored dot(s) on the front Z springs? One pink dot?

G coupe springs rear(1/2"drop):

I presume that rear springs from any G coupe with stock 17s or 18s is what I want b/c they have 342 spring rate.[g35 sedan: (F) 314 and (R) 342 ]
Is this correct?
Anyone know the colored dots on g-coupe rears?

My coupe 19s are being held off until I can get the suspension done.

BTW, if you know the colored dots on the front Z springs and rear G coupe springs, please let me know.

thanks

Z springs front: one pink dot only
coupe rears: color markings?

Hmm I was thinking of putting my Z springs in the rear so I could get rid of my coupe springs as a set.

Viscous pics show a real even drop on Z springs. For comparison, this is what my drop looks like (Z FRT Coupe R) On Koni yellows if that makes any diff. More drop in the rear would look funny IMHO.

I have the Full suspension in my sedan.. Rides pretty good, and looks great. Worth the money.

Jeff,

Never really paid attention to Viscous' picts before, but truly his car doesn't look like all the other G's that have the full Z setup.... Not sure why, but he's got more gap up front than normal as well as in the back...maybe it's his tire combo as he suggested? Looking at your car picts, clearly if you put the z-springs in the back, you'll be sagging and uneven. Just my $0.02.

If it were me, I'd keep the setup you have. Besides, all you'd get for the full setup is $80 and is the full coupe springs in demand?? I think most people just want the rears.

Let me know your thoughts.

Yeah, the gap seems even because the rears are 245-40-19 which is slightly bigger than oem and the fronts are 225-40-19 which is slightly smaller than oem. IMHO that's what is affecting the gap. I fear that using the Z rears will only make it look worse. I think you're right.

350z nismo s-tune suspension

dont mean to jack the thread but im thinking of a z springs all around. will 05 sport suspension make a diff in drop or feel of the ride. and my next questions is that 350z nismo s-tune suspension will have a lower drop...?

I don't believe there is such a thing (for either of these)...my understanding is the only "revised" springs are the rear Z-springs...I don't think the coupe ever revised any of theirs and the Z never made changes to the fronts...

Can someone else back me up on this or am I off base here?

Jimmy you are correct. The only springs that they "revised" were the 350z rear springs from 04.5 and up. The spring rate is higher than 04 and under. The coupe springs have been the same
