Help me pick rotors for 05 G35X (I searched)

I searched and found a lot of rotor suggestions but most are coupe/brembo posts.

I want to replace the front pads and front rotors with aftermarket. I have settled on Hawk HPS pads based on what I have read here. Can anyone tell me what rotors to go with? Ideally I would like to know what the "consensus" is for 05 G35X sedan owners on the board.

I am not looking for crazy expensive - just solid, reliable and good with the Hawk pads...but cross-drilled might be nice

Thanks in advance!

You can always pm Tony@RiversideInfiniti for stock replacement, which is what I did, he has great prices. Or you can look you R1 Concepts if you want cross-drilled. But if you have the budget check out Racing Brake.

If you go with the OEM replacement get the set for the 06 X, bigger rotor but you need the caliper bracket.

Based on the reviews r1concepts.com makes very good quality rotors. I have bought in the past from irotors.com and just now bought another set of 4 rotors for my 06 g35x.

I used the stoptech cryo slotted rotors on my 05X along with the Hawk HPS pads. Great combo and the car seems to stop much better.

I just got mine installed and broke them in. So far they feel and work great. I drove about half a day on them.

Okay I PM'd Tony@Riverside and am also in touch with R1concepts.

Any hookups on the board for Stoptech Cryo rotors?

I have just installed, EBC sport slotted rotors and EBC greenstuff pads.
IFirst time using their rotors.
I have used the greenstuff pads on my Wife's Acura CL-S with Brembo "blanks".
Have gotten 50,000 out of that combination.
So we'll see how this works in my 04 Coupe.

Okay - I settled on the Stoptech slotted rotors and the Hawk HPS pads. Found a great distributor in PA that is right up the street from my work too!

Thanks everyone for your help!

Can someone confirm this? I would like to do some sort of upgrade on my 05 X because it's going through stock brakes like crazy but everything I've read says I needs ALL the hardware including calipers from an 06 X (Because 06 X has a 4-piston front caliper).

If I could keep my calipers with just a set of brackets and go to larger rotors that would be an amazing & cost effective upgrade.
