19x10.5 +23 - Will 275/30/19 be OK?

Hey guyz, currently I got the 19x9.5 +28 245/35/19 up front and 19x10.5 +23 275/35/19 in the rear with TEINs 350z htechs. Question is would 275/30/19 be ok in the rears? I see a lot of packaged deals with 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear...just wondering if these would look ok or if there will be a noticable gap. I always wondered why they went with 30's instead of 35s. I was searching quite a bit, but couldn't find anything concrete. TIA for your responses!

If you are wondering how the size changes between a 30 and 35 aspect ratio, use a calculator like this one:

285/30/19 will be fine. It will give you a little beef and no stretch.

I disagree - if you are going to have a rim and a performance car...put a tire that fits. A 275 tire is not going to cover the whole rim and is going to perform like ****. If you hit any pot holes the out lip of your rim is going to either get bent or scratched to hell. That is why they make tires that have little bit of lip protection that covers that outer edge lip. a 285/30/19 is going to be a stretch fit as it is. I would really go with a 295, but a 285 will be fine - it is still within spec of a 10.5 rim.

This, again, is bogus information. With a 275/30/19 or a 285/30/19 you'll kill the stagger and give the VDC fits. You need 275/35/19 or 285/35/19. The car was designed and expects to see about a one inch difference in OD between the front and rear tires. You see so many deals on the 35 series front and 30 series rear because they were designed for cars without the stagger, like the BMW. Keep the stagger. BTW, with the 245/35 up front, use 275/35. With 255/35 up front, use 285/35. Either combo will fit your width rims. I wouldn't go wider with you offset, you may rub. As it is, 285s will be close.
