Brake Pads: Which to get

I'm looking for lowest noise and brake dust with OEM or better performance. I searched and found mixed reviews on the Hawk HPS. What do you guys recommend?

I've used Hawk pads in the last 2 cars and I loved them. Quiet, very low brake dust, and they didn't wear down fast either.

Depends on your climate. If you get winter and decent amounts of rain, Hawk HPS is not the way to go. Poor initial/cold bite means longer braking distances.

I was thinking Hawk Ceramic or Centric Posi-Quiet pads.

Axxis Ultimates. Quiet, low dust, and slightly better than OE performance. Excellent pad all around.

i just replaced axxis ultimates on my brembo with hawk hps. haven't driven it enough to give a meaningful comparison, but the pedal feels nice and the bite progressive. i read somewhere that some had problems with hawk hps not fitting well. i didn't have any install issues. they slid in nice and easy.

Anybody from the North using Project Mu pads? I'd be interested to hear experiences with initial/cold pad bite.

Pretty much impossible to beat or even match dusty oem pads as to first panic stopping distances from 30 or 60 or 80mph.
Now on the 2nd or third panic stop in a row with little cool down others may get close to oem.
