How is the Tanabe NF210 springs?

I'm considering dropping the car on these. Anyone have them? How do they look and feel? Thanks.

I'll take a leap of faith that you have a coupe and not a 07 sedan.

Your oem spring rates are 314/427

The springs your considering are,...

Tanabe NF210 Springs G35 COUPE progressive springs 1”/,6”
Spring rates in LBS 297/336

IMO, less spring rate and less suspension travel isn't a good idea.

Yep, I have the coupe. Cool, thanks for the input. I've been leaning more towards the S-tech's anyways.

They aren't much different

Tein S-tech G35 coupe 1.2”/.9” (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 358/274 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)

or were you talking about these

Tein S-tech 350Z springs G35 coupe drop 1.2"/1.1" (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)

I was talking about the s-tech for the g35 coupe. So if u were to pick the lesser of two evils, which one would u go for? The tanabe nf210 or the S-tech?

350Z S-techs, G version just isn't plus enough in the front and I won't run anything lower then 342lbs in the rear. Between the Nf210/S-tech's ment for the G coupe, the S-tech's.

would that be because it would blow out the shocks sooner?

No. Avoiding ride and drive quality issues relating to having enough spring rate to keep you out of the bumpstops as much as possible. Remember, the drop isn't helping matters in that reguard and if you go with a spring choice that isn't much different vs oem or is softer, things go down hill from their since these cars don't have a lot of shock piston stroke to begin with.

Is there anyone who's installed these springs that has anything positive to say about them?

I'm interested in.

1. Ride quality
2. Is a camber kit required?
3. How many miles have you driven with them?
4. How are your stock shocks holding up?
5. Are you using any sway bars in addition to these springs?

Thanks in advance. As for me, I'm debating between these and 350z H techs. I'd like to combine them with either Stillen or Hotchkis sways for enhanced handling.

If you have experience with any of the above, please advise me on what your experience has been like using these springs and sway bars mentioned above

I personally have the NF210 springs on my coupe and love them to death. They're perfect for anyone looking to lower their car and have stock like driveability until they get a full coilover setup

dropped on NF210s with 20" Volks and stock camber and toe components

^this helps a lot, I was introduced to the nf210s as well.. wondering if I should go that route... LOOKS great, but I don't want to have issues down the line that I could have avoided by just getting better quality in the beginning.. Could you describe your ride quality, and durability? Do you NEED the camber kit?

1. Ride quality is the same as stock
2. I'd say yes mostly cuz I have 20" wheels and the camber is more noticeable
3. roughly 20k miles
4. stock shocks are holding up like a champ
5. I recently upgraded the stock sway bars to the cusco sway bars and love it even more now than I did before I swapped

take a close look at my last pic and look at the front wheel. The bottom of that wheel sits almost perfectly flush with the fender... now look at the top and see that there's like 1"-2" of the wheel tucked into the fender

same thing can be seen in the close of I did of the rear wheel and fender. The rear wheels are tipped in but if i had a camber kit they'd be flush with the fenders front and rear.

If you like the look of them tipped in at the top and don't mind buying new rubber every season then by all means enjoy the springs and the drop with all that negative camber

Otherwise you're gonna need to make friends with a rim shop so you can get your tires rotated FREQUENTLY
