I want my brakes to 'Look' cool...

I know this is asking for flaming, but be kind here...just a question...

So i'd like my brakes to 'look' cool as seen through the rims. I suppose the basics would be to pull off the oem calipers and have them powdercoated red or black or blue or whatever. But, i've seen this, and to me its like, 'um, those are just stock calipers painted, and don't look any cooler cuz they're small and not 'cool' looking.'

So is there any other option besides sinking a couple thousand $$ into a bbk? (which i don't need the way i drive)

can i buy different calipers to put on my stock brakes? Can you buy cheap brakes that have cool drilled rotors with bigger calipers that are painted without spending a ton of $$?

I guess, its that my brakes work fine and brake great for my driving, but i want them to look nicer, i think it makes the wheels stand out even more (especially with aftermarket wheels)

thanks in advance.

find someone that has some stock brembo's laying around. Cheaper than a big brake kit, that's for sure.

ha, i said less $$, not ridiculous!
but yeaeh, i mean, i check the for sale section for used bbk's, and brembros...

do you think Brembro used kit would be the best thing here? Are there ever any good deals vendors do on BBK's?

The things i like the 'look' of are:
drilled rotors that are all shiny and stand out behind the rims, and a larger painted red caliper.

?

About the same price as replacement OE rotors, and not only "looks" cool but also cool more efficiently than OE rotors too.

Just get a can of Duplicolor High Temperature paint and paint your calipers. I did mine over a year ago and they still look great. Flame away, but I like the look and it is significantly cheaper than getting new calipers just to change the colour.

no flaming at all man...i think it looks pretty decent...an extremely cheap alternative to getting a BBK...good job looks like its hold up well..also on the road...it probably sticks out to others as a bbk when your driving
