If Your Getting Avg Quality Pads Why Not Just Get Hawk Pads ..

Had Hawk HPS on a previous car (300ZX) and was not a fan. They resisted fade well, but initial bite was poor, especially in colder temps and rain. In fact, in the rain these pads were downright scary. It took a good 1/2 second before you felt any braking action at all.

Maybe I'm misreading, but you don't need to remove the caliper for a pad install. It's one 14mm and that's it.
