Confused about springs!!!

Hey

How does a 350Z TEIN S tech spring drop a G35 more than what a G35 TEIN S tech spring does when the drop amount for a 350Z spring is .7/.6 and the amount for a G35 TEIN spring is 1.2/.9???

I just don't see the difference how 1/2 inch drop extra makes the 350Z springs drop the G35 more than the G35 springs themself.

Anyone have any ideas?

I tried to make this as clear as possible.

Thanks.

No more confusion about springs and ratings!

Every car is diffrent even though the parts are interchangable like the Z & G.
If you'll go to www.tein.com and look under springs and the G vs Z you'll be
able to see the spring rating diffrence.

from my understanding z springs will lower the coupe 1/2 inch more and 1 inch more on the sedan then they would on a z

Since the oem ride heights differ by 1/2" vs the coupe and 1" vs the 350Z, any spring made for the Z lowers the coupe and sedan that additional amount vs that springs published numbers for the Z. Same thing goes for a coilover spec is that shown for the 350Z, you add the same amounts to the min and max drop height ranges.
