Brake Squeals.....

I've notice my front brakes (Brembo) are squealing when I come to a slow rolling stop. Friend of mine checked the pads & they were fine. I was thinking maybe the shims need to be replaced or something. Any suggestions?

Hi-perf pads sometimes do that on slow stops. But, you can try re-bedding them - that might help. Alternatively, you can take the pads out and apply some more Disc Brake Quite to the backs of the shims.

welcome to owning a G with brembos. I love them but i hate them beacuse they are squeaky as hell. I've tried disc brake quiet and grinding down the surface of the pad to take off what i thought was a "glaze" on the pad ; still nothing changed. any thoughts?

Well it can only be vibration [squeel frequency] from pads or rotors............something has worn and or changed. Try disassembly and cleaning of calipers, pins, and antivibration shims with new lubricant [Nissan oem shim-grease].

Do an extremely light cut [few thousanths] on rotors to expose the metallurgy and rebed [transfer brake film] to rotor.

If all else fails, switch to ceramics.
