suspension for a 2004 g35x

i just got the car last friday and love it. i always was into mdding cars and was driving a leased car for a few years. i love the way the car handles and rides stock, but i want to tighten up the wheel well gap. what precision matched spring and strut combo can i get to just lower the car a little bit without sacrificing to much ride quality. keep in mind ita a daily driver car that gets driven into the city of philadelphia everyday. thanks

Your oem front suspension is different from RWD G35's and 350Zs. This means you cannot run any off the shelf product and use it up front, other then springs, which will mount. Search out G35X threads, many that have lowered do complain about ride quality issue with lowering springs. Also be mindfull of running different rear shocks that only stiffen up that end of the car, might not be the most fun at the limit setup that way.

You can buy Koni shocks ment for the 350Z and send the front shocks to koni where they will convert them to work on your G35X, not cheap, but you do end up with excellent shocks, much better then oem.

i called around and have found different issues with lowering the car and camber problems. i just wanna lower it an inch or so, to close up the wheel well gap. i just wanna know who has done this prior to me and what did they use and what mods did they to to made the springs work...ie cutting bumpstops and such......

How about .5 of an inch. You can go with the coupe springs. I got some, we can talk.
