sways making noise

hi, ive done a few searches and ive found a couple threads talking about sways making noises and most solutions are to grease the bushings. i tried that and i still get an ugly noise. i have hotchkis sways and i have it set on 2(near hardest) in front and Med in rear. the sound is a loud knocking sound whenever i go over a bump or go into my driveway. can anyone help me out? thanks

Check endlink to sway bar nut, it might be loose. Take a wrench to it, because you may not noticve freeplay by hand.
If bar is squeaking, then it's bushing problem, if it's knocking, it is most likely loose hardware.

Sorry if this may be a stupid question but which side of the bushings did you lube? I have known some people to lube the part that sits in the bracket and needs to be the part of the way that meets the inner side of the bushing.
