Tanabe springs

ok I'm going to start by saying I had this information once upon a time... I now cannot find it to save my life...

so I'm thinking about tossing some springs on the G, drop is minor 1" in the front 0.6" rear just enough to get rid of the wheel gap.

my question is will I need to do some camber/toe adjustments that's beyond what a basic 4wheel alignment can do? (if I have to buy camber plates etc I'm just going to wait to go coils again)

troy do you have aftermarket wheels?

i have 19s and i was planning on dropping with tanabes. my friend was telling me it would be just enough where i wouldn't need camber adjustment.

if the drop is greater than 1" you need camber otherwise you'll be fine, but DO NOT just get springs or you will get uneven wear on the tires. Either get springs and a camber kit or coilovers. If you're gonna get a drop do it right and eventually the money you spend on springs/camber or coilovers will be worth not having to buy new tires every 6 months.

thats what i was thinking. i was planning on just waiting to get coilovers but i dont have the money for that right now. i really need a drop but i dont really want springs. the tire wear will be on the inside right?

are the tanabes greater than an inch?

Depends which tanabe's you get. The gf210 or the nf210? I heard the nf210's makes the rear sag more than .6. With the gf210's u definitely need a full camber kit. Either way, you need a camber kit for the rear's at least.

Yes the tire wear is on the inside where it is not visible. I'm not sure wherever you are buying the spring from it should tell you how much lower it will make your car.

thanks guys I've been waiting for a response for a while. my last car I did full suspension and dropped in 2.5" this car I don't want to lose the ride quality which is why I was thinking just using springs.

BlackWindEXE I've ordered a set of 19s that should be getting here in December. I've got the Brembo package and apparently the offset on the G is a bit of a problem for SSR who were already backlogged.
