All:

I have a 2005 G35 Coupe with the standard 17" wheels, no sport package, no Brembo Brake Kit. I have the opportunity to purchase a set of 2006 19" OEM M45 wheels, but is wondering if I will have problems with the specs:

wheel 19/8.5 offset 45mm
tires 245/40r/19

I have heard I may need to use 10mm spacers for this configuration on the front wheels - are there pro/cons in using spacers?

Thanks in advance.

you will probably need bigger spacers to make it look more flush on a coupe. the sedan guys usually use a 10mm spacer. I think coupes need a 20 or 25mm spacer

try searching for this, its been talked about a lot.

Thanks for the quick response... my main question is what the pros (aesthetics) and cons (rubbing?) of spacers... and more importantly has anyone done this before, so I know what exact spacers to get?

I run M45 sport wheels

25+mm spacers on front and rear

245/30/19 front 255/40/19 rear

No rubbing no nothing

+50mm offset on the M wheels. I'm running them as well.
I used +25mm spacers and still not quite as flush as I would like.
I'm lowered on 350Z Tein H Techs and I have 235/35/19 fronts and 255/40/19rears, no rubbing.
