Brake Noise

I have about 7500 miles on my G35 6MT and I notice that under moderate to hard braking that the breaks kind of "groan" before the care comes to a complete stop. The brakes also seem to feel a litte rough through the pedal. Does anyone else have this issue?

Why do you get free breaks for 3 years?

Re: Brake Noise

Check here for the story. Basically, all 03 and 04 sedans and AT coupes have a 3/36 brake and rotor warranty.

Re: Brake Noise

I am at about 9300 miles. My car is begining to squel. I never got a letter either about free pads. I figure its because i also have a 6 spd. It sucks but it looks like we got shafted. It seems logical that if the normal calipers wear out pads fast... thus, the upgraded brembos will wear their pads out too.
Hmmm? i thin i will bitch and complain to my dealer. I believe they will change mine for free too. Cross ur fingers.

Re: Brake Noise

they had issues with the brake pad material and it eating rotors, that is why they extended the brake warranty. Supposedly they have corrected the issue, we will see.

Re: Brake Noise

So why didn't they extend the warranty for the 6MT's?! It would makes sense that our rotors would be affect as well.
