G37 Brakes on a G35?
G37 Brakes on a G35?
So I'm wondering if the G37 sport brakes (4 pot front, 2 pot rear) would fit the G35. The rotors on the G37 are slightly bigger too.
If so, would the cost be comparable to aftermarket to do the switch?
Does anyone have any insight on this?

i don't know but that'd be sweet. when i saw those brakes on the showroom model, i knew we should've waiting a couple of years for the g37. the g35 looks so playskool now. but like i read on this forum: that's the whole reason they came out with next year's model-to make it better.

This has been asked already. Do a search.
Bottom line is that they wouldn't likely fit, and I'm not sure you'd get any better results than going with an aftermarket BBK that's been tested for the G35, like Stoptech's.

My question was not so I could go buy the set-up and do it, unless it was much more economical than an aftermarket BBK and directly bolted on. It would be a no brainer then. I was more curious than anything.
I did a search. Maybe I'm not that good at pinpointing the exact phrase that someone else said to produce less than 50+ matches on "g37 brakes...".
But as somone else here agreed, a direct bolt on situation would be pretty cool. If the $$$ was the same as an aftermarket kit, I would most likely go with aftermarket to get the additional benefits of pad and rotor choices and let's not forget about how nice red calipers look. I mean, if you're going to spend the money, you should get the red paint too.

It is, but when you consider how much R&D they put into their product to ensure that it has the right brake bias, etc., it's worth it, especially when you compare the cost of trying to buy a set of G37 brakes from the dealer and then add the cost of modding them to fit a G35. You really have to think about what the objective is for a BBK...
the G37 Calipers wont bolt up to G35 or 350Z...
the spacing between the caliper bolts on the CV36 and V35/Z33 spindles is totally different... not to mention the offset on the rotor...
the G37 Calipers look great, are reasonably priced... but wont bolt up without alot of modification which would make it not even worth it...
