Problems with Toyo Proxes T1R

the only problem I had with the T1R's is one tire kept going low and it hasn't ever had any nail or been patched at all.. weird

though, the tires did last me quite alot, almost 30k miles on all four tires and I've gone to the drag strip plenty of times as well.

i think they just have had some bad batches of tires..

Have the valve stem checked fellas. I had the problem of a leaky tire also. I took it back to Status. They had encountered this problem before so they knew what was wrong. They changed the valve stem and the problem was solved. I have had these tires on my Works for over a year now with no further issues. *knocks on wood*

yeah you better be knocking hard!! lol!! I replaced my Valvestems as well when i got the rims installed....I had the issue with the tire wear was ridiculous...both rear tires gone by 10-12k miles.

the only problem i have is a leaky front tire... the tires are pretty much new so ill see how they do...

Yep... & get real noisy with wear.
I gave up on Toyos a few years ago.

Tires are only designed to be quiet until half worn at best because the tread depth is an acoustic slot designed to cancel some of the noise, as the tread wears this tuning goes out of phase and may actually increase noise.

There are several reasons why tires should be replaced when half worn. Noise and wet performance are just 2 of them.

But Then Again I Drive So Hard I Go Throught Them Every 15k Or So
