Stillen Front Strut on Coupe

Curious if anyone has installed the new Stillen FSB on their coupe yet and how it is working out?

The bar is aluminum but what about the bases that attach to the frame? Are they steel or aluminum as well.

Thanks!

iirc, it doesn't fit with many plenum mods (if any at all). poor choice on stillen's part. if i'm right, then that's the reason why not many people have it. i'm sure the mounts are steel.

I bought one last July, tried to install it, determined it wouldn't fit without hitting the engine (even though their site specifically it would work with my setup), so I returned it. Customer service was disappointing, but I did eventually get my money back in full.

Well Stillen guarantees it will fit with a 5/16" spacer but not the plastic engine cover.

Think I'm going to wait for the JIC carbon one to be released, it's on their site but I'm pretty sure they're not shipping yet. Could be wrong though.

I don't get it........?

Why would you buy a Stillen upper strut bar or anyone elses when Richies
bar will work with even my 1/2" spacer.....not to mention it's easy to install.
Couldn't have taken me more than 15 minutes to install, less if I hadn't dropped that damn nut (twice)!
