R34 Brembo Brakes

From pictures, it appears these are the same as the 350z/g35c brembos. Can anyone confirm this?

I've seen them upclose on my friends R34 and they look similar, but without taking them off and measuring I can't say for sure if they'll fit on the G as a simple bolt on.

Do you have some available or something?

Caliper may look the same, but piston sizes may not be.

Seems the rotors are different sizes as well. G35/350z brembos are 324mm and r34 are 300mm. So I doubt the calipers would work without an adapter.

It thought the R34 brakes had more in common with the Z32 than the G/350z?

But since you mention pics, post them. I'd like to see.

The r32/r33 had the same brakes as the z32.

I think at they very least you are going to need the rotor size these were desgined around. Or use the R34 rotors.

But you are going to have to know if the mounting and offset dimensions are correct and will work on the G. It's tough to tell as the G/Zs are on a new platform vs the older 240s/Z32s/Skylines.

Ask for the measurements:
- Distance between bolt hole centers
- Distance from bolt hole centers to edge of caliper
- Piston diameters

Unless you get a killer deal on the R34 brakes and are able to machine a mounting bracket, I wouldn't bother with it. There are tons of aftermarket BBK's and OEM Brembo's available to choose from.

part numbers are different... most likely the piston sizeing is going to be different, tuned specifically for the weight and bias of the R34 master cylinder etc...

as far as Z32 / R32/R33 GTR Calipers, they will not bolt up on the Z33 / V35 platform...

Best options... find a used 350Z / G35 brake kit, or Stop Tech big brake kit...
