06 350z brakes on an 04 coupe(non brembo)
Would this be a good upgrade? I'm wondering if these Z parts are the same brakes that were on my 05 sedan. Those were soo much better than the 03/04 brakes that i'm currently running... again. I found a great deal on a set of 2006 350z brake calipers and rotors. less than 5000k miles
Easy swap? Anyone done this?

They are definitely an upgrade and an inexpensive one at that. They will bolt right up, you might have to get the rear 05-07 dust shields to fit the rear rotors on, or you can just cut the lip of your current dust shields

I'm not saying it will cause a problem, but performance my not be optimal. The front calipers got significantly larger pistons while the rear caliper stayed the same while being used on a larger rotor. This shifts the brake bias and pressure distribution as well as possibly change the pressure multiplication requirement for the master cylinder.
