So I have a 1/2" plenum spacer and was wondering if I could still fit a strut bar?? There is really no clearance between the hood and the engine cover. I know this because you can see the spots where the hood hits the cover and has scratched it. Is there any way for me to fit a strut bar?? I don't want to buy one then not be able to put it on..

 

I think it depends on which strut bar you buy. I have a stillen, and that barely clears a 5/16" spacer. I think GT spec makes one that mounts forward of the plenum, and I believe that VRT makes one as well. I'm not sure if you can keep the engine cover with either of those though. Hope this helps.

You can go with the Richie Strut bar and it will fit perfectly with your 1/2" spacer.
