in need of assistance after changing rear pads

I just changed my rear pads on my 05 6mt G with some pads i got over at pep boys- after changing the rear pads and putting the wheels back and here I go to test the brake pedal- for some reason now I have to push ALL the way almost to the floor so the brakes can engage- I depressed the pedal before to get the fluid back in the lines again but still nothing- when i turn the car on, if i push the brake pedal faster it tightens up, but as soon as i push the brake pedal slow, it gets weak again and doesn't stay like normal- anyone have any ideas? i did search and didn't find anyone that had my problem

went through the whole process again step by step- but still after i but everything back, the pedal is still weak, at one moment I had my VDC and slip light stay on- I remember reading somewhere that a low brake fluid would cause that to happen and sure enough my brake fluid was low- but the pedal is still weak- someone told me I might have air bubble and need to bleed the brakes now :-/

Did you open the brake lines or the bleeder valve, or did you just push the pistons in the caliper and change the pads?

There was no need to bleed the brakes since, by pushing the piston back, the lines weren't opened for air to be introduced. Maybe take it back to that place to have them bleed them again.
