StopTech Stage 2 kit
Just finished "bedding in" the rotors and pads and I'll give a full review after the Raging Bull this weekend.
Just installed the StopTech Stage 2 kit. It comes with Cross Drilled (or slotted) rotors front and back, SS brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, and MOTUL 600 fluid. Took me about 4 hours total because I just went one at a time and did the bleeding as I went.
As I did the bed in, they just seemed to get better and better.
StopTech recommends that you do 6 light slow downs 35 to 5 mph to cut the phosphate glaze. Then do 10 slow downs from 70 to 5 mph using 80% force. They said to do this twice. I did and it seems to work quite well.

I just got this setup and wow it is better than oem brembos and stock lines. The Axxis pads have great bite at all times and really stop well. They dust but it is a lighter dust than brembo pads. The dust is not so thick and wipes off with water easier. The rotors looks nice, I would go with slotted for a street car and not cross drilled (look better but can crack ). Oh and pedal feel is very good with the SS lines. I highly recommend this set up. I got mine for $547 picked up, pretty amazing performance for the $$ in my book!

Just thought I'd reply with some "field test" data since I was just under the car and checked. . .(I love my new digital micrometer!)
112036 miles, installed the StopTech stgII back around 60k, and the front rotors are still at 23.43mm (normal front 03 5AT range is 22 - 24mm). I'd have to say for a little over 60k with normal driving habits on the rotors, I'm amazed that I'm still over half of the rotor's life. Kudos to StopTech for the beefy rotors, and Hawk Pads for not completely chewing them up.

However, when it's all said and done, I like the 05' OEM brakes the best. If I could drill the stock rotors for a reasonable price, I would keep them. There was VERY little wear and the rotors looked like a mirror after 25K. I put in EBC "Green Stuff" pads and it tore the rotors up in about 20K. Now with the StopTech, I'm back to the stock like performance and wear and they look cool. I like them.
