Brake Line Question...

Sorry if this is a repeat...

Im debating upgrading to braided lines however ive found two conflicting sets of information. One set has 4 lines, and another has 6 lines.

Can anyone tell me why there would be 6, and which ones i would need (4 or 6)?

I have a non-sport, non-brembo 2004 G35 Sedan.

Thanks!

the stock design of the front lines are such that there are two lines with a splitter connected to the front caliper. That would be my only guess why there is 6 lines. Part of going with braided lines is to get rid of that pointless splitter in the front. So set of 4 lines would be more thoughtful.

90% of the aftermarket brake lines available for the G / Z will be one solid line... There are a couple of manufacturers I can think of that offer one with a bracket in between the line...

Which ever way you go will work...
