I know everyone has Tokico D-Spec Shocks but...

What about these? Are these bad? I just need shocks that are good enough for 350Z H-Techs. I don't need them for the track. What does everyone think?

I am curious myself. I have looked at my350z to see how the z ones rate, but was unsuccessful.

your stock shocks will be good enough for h-techs, those might be valved slightly stiffer than stock

Yes they have been talked about over on my350z before but not much. They are the lower line of Tokico shocks/struts that are basically meant for OEM replacement but with better valving. They obviously have no adjustability. I'm not sure how the G35 model is valved (ie sport or non-sport shocks) but if they are more like the sport shocks they will be plenty fine to match the 350Z H-Techs which have only a slight increase in spring rate. Here's Tokicos own description on the product.

Holy quadruple repost batman! But to answer your question I don't think there was a separate sport or non sport coupe shocks in 03. The valving of the 03 coupe shocks should be able to handle the 350Z H-Techs just fine.

I am no expert, but if you are getting springs made for a 350z I would get the 350z Tokico's also. From what I understand the 350z shocks will give you additional suspension travel over G shocks.

Tokico blues are tried/true on many cars. The D-Specs offer adjustability in the dampening. If you don't need that, then the ones you linked will be just fine. If you're lowering more than 1", I'd def recommend getting the Z version. If not, then it prob doesn't really matter.
