will the 05 coupe springs fit on the 04 rwd sedan?

 

all day long, sir. just beware that the 05 coupe springs may be different spring rates if it has performance package. those stiffer springs aren't going to mix well if your sedan doesn't have the sport tuned suspension. so different shocks are recommended as well. alot of folks run a complete revised 350z suspension and are quite happy. the coupe springs only gonna drop your car .5".

yes. get the revised setup. stiffer rear spring rates and the shocks have been revised to eliminate the bounciness the older setups had. 04.5+ is the revised years.

 

how do i kno if its revised or not? sorry im pretty confused on this. i wanna make sure i keep my ride smooth and nice nd im stayin with the stock rims cuz i got the chromes nd i think i want to do the coupe springs but if i doesnt make a difference i mite as well do the 350z.

 

A 04.5+ Z rear spring will have 2 red dot's and 1 pale purple dot. A 03/04 rear Z spring will have either 2 red dot's only or 2 red dot's and 1 white dot. If the springs are revised, then the shocks should be as well unless somebody is trying to pull a fast one. The front suspension didn't change, the springs rates have been the same since production in 2003. Just ask for pics of the suspension you decide to buy, if something doesn't seem right, then you know you can ask on here. The 350z suspension will you give you a 1" drop and will be more noticeable and look better than stock or coupe springs, IMHO.

 

alright thanx. so if i wanted to can i just install the 350z spring around the whole car with the g35 shocks? drop still 1inch?

 

I wouldn't if you don't have the sport tuned suspension already. If not, then get the entire z suspension, shock/struts & springs. The non sport tuned shocks/struts can't dampen the z springs properly. Your ride quality will suffer and blown shocks will be inevitable.

what year sedan do you have, auto or manual?

 

so i should get the revised springs nd shocks if i go with 350z. but if i go with the coupe springs same problem or can i put those on the stock shocks?

 

depends if the coupe has sport tuned suspension. 2005-2007 sport tuned coupe has same spring rate as revised 350z in the rear, in that case it would be a no. if its not from a sport tuned coupe, then you could use the springs because the drop is so minimal. what year sedan do you have, is it auto or manual, this may changes things a bit, you might have a sport tuned suspension, then you can just use unrevised 350z springs all the way around.

get the full revised spring/shocks from the 350z. The tread is very informative but just so you know revised and unrevised only applies to the rear springs on the 350z and G35 coupes with sports package. The front springs never changed through the model years. Since your car is a 2004 auto you may or may not have the sports package. What color are your shocks and what style wheels do you have? That's a clue to if you have the sports package. If you do have the sports package you can save yourself some money by picking up unrevised springs and keeping your stock sports shocks.
