So my 350z stech springs were delivered today. The 06 g coupe is taking a drop this weekend.

I dropped 1.5" on my last car and shredded tires on the inside rears from camber so i am pretty sure it will be the same with the G.

Looking at rear camber kits I find these:

So other than than what I have perceived in my 2 months of g ownership to be a stillen assraping what really is the $300 difference between the 2?

 

Get the Eibach(SPC) from ajusa.com. Done. Search under 350z

one adjusts your camber and one sucks at adjusting your toe, get toe bolts, do NOT use toe arms under any circumstances

 

what do you mean? Both the arms i posted are camber arms. One set is from Intensepower for $150, the other is $tillen for $450.

I am trying to find out what makes the $tillen ones cost $300 more than the other ones.

"toe"(radius) arms change 2 planes of suspension geometry at the same time unlike the stock toe adjustment point. This is a very poor way of adjusting toe, especially when there are better options out there. To be clear, we are talking about toe arms that replace the factory radius arms and not toe arms that replace the spring bucket in true coilover setups

 

oops, that they were both stillens. They both will function the same, the stillens you are paying for the name. Still, for the price, you can get SPC camber arms and toe bolts, just camber arms is not going to be adequate for most drops

 

I did take your advice and went spc. What's the deal with the toe bolts? Apparently I have to grind the stock hole to a slot? I can probably figure that out but if I take it to infiniti to align are they going to know what to do?

 

yes, the bolt just replaces the stock bolt that is used for alignment. it just has more adjustment range than stock. They probably won't even know its been changed, but you should mention the camber arms and make sure they know how to adjust the length on them

 

Great call on the SPC. I ordered their camber "kit" only to find when it arrived by "Kit" they meant one arm and a bolt.

wtf would anybody need 1 camber arm for? Everybody else sells them as a pair. Now I gotta RMA.

 

Where did you order from, did you order the eibach kit like I told you from ajusa.com? The eibach kit(made by spc) comes with 2 arms and 2 toe bolts, SPC sells them per side

 

Obviously I got them (or it as the case may be) from SPC

To top it off, their online store is down so now I have to wait until Monday to call them. grrr

Red, I'm getting ready to drop my coupe using Tein Basics (putting on 19s). I want to leave little to no wheel gap...do you think I'm going to need this kit or would you recommend just waiting to see if the alignment comes in?

I've been to two different places here in Phoenix (both have done a lot of G's and 350Z's) and they both told me I wouldn't need a camber kit. If I'm going to definitely need it, I'd rather install them while the suspension is being done.

as cheap as the rear arms are, i would definitely invest in them.

as for the fronts, if you want no gap...then i'd also suggest getting front camber correcting arms. spl and 350evo both work well.
