Tein + EDFC installation...

Can anyone let me know the range of labor charge for the Tein + EDFC installation and a good professional none rip off shop in the SF bay area? Do I need camber kit if I want to lower it to approximately a finger gap with 18" wheels on a 03 sedan? Thanks!

From stock height to a finger gap, yes, you will need camber kits front and back it you want to get it back to OEM and prevent premature/uneven wear of the tires.

You should come out to some of the meets in Norcal, we're a close group and love to talk shop and hang out.

Here's a list of shops you can call around in the bay area.

The coilovers install will be just like a spring install. The EDFC will be a decent amount more. They have to install a motor on each corner and then wire/install the controller.

I did mine myself in ~5-6 hours.

If you know how to install the coilovers just do it yourself...i did mine myself and the EDFC is pretty easy to install. You will need a friend to help you pull through the wire in the rear, but its pretty easy other than that. A shop will probably chage you 5 hours just for the EDFC...

G35papa, thanks for the link. I'll call around to check out the price. Yea, I need to come out to one of these meets to meet you guys. I'll check the group meet threads.

Thanks for the other replies. But if anyone else has a price you already paid for the installation would be wonderful so I know the ball park figure. Thanks!
