I am looking into springs, but i dont know how to read spring rates and all, i want my look to about like this:



and i want a HARD spring, i want the drop, but i want the hardest spring i can find.

PLEASE HELP!!!

anyway, once i know which one i want, ill be buying them, so PM me or post if you have some for sale!

*edit* I want G35 s-techs im pretty sure... are they soft though? I am road coursing the car and i need a HARD spring cause i cant validate coilovers until im making more power.

Also, i dont want to have to buy the camber kit, i can run SOME negative camber... (<2.5), but i want to get 15K out of my tires (see below)

 

i have a set of tein s-techs.
They are hard enough for track use in my opinion. I took them off because my car is a daily driver, and the ride was too rough for me.

Spring rates are the amount of wight to compress the springs an inch.

If you want hard springs (high spring rates) you should get better shocks too. Your OEM shocks were not designed for high spring rates. Coilovers would be great for your needs.

 

thanks for the info, i really cant afford coilovers, but i might save my pennies for some coilovers in the future!
