Painting of calipers??

Ok so there is kind of a debate on another site about the painting of calipers. I know how I feel but I don't want to taint opinions so please, share with me your thoughts on the subject. Also I'm not talking about doing it on any car in particular but just in general. Begin...

I'll take the other side - i think they can look nice if done properly - doesn't have to be some crazy color - i think silver/black or red look nice, I wouldn't do any other colors.

BBK are nice, most would love to have them - including me - but painting your calipers doesn't cost you an arm and a leg and can look good as well.

I think it draws too much attention to the tiny OEM calipers on most cars. I have these on my car. They're as inexpensive as painting and I get compliments everywhere. I tell people I retrofitted them from an actual Ferrari.

the sad thing is that a member on this forum has a set of brembo caliper covers.

Painted stock calipers FTL...unless you paint them black to hide them better. Any color or lettering on stock calipers is just cheap looking.
