...and by the way, what "offsets" are you running?
Also, most are running 20/25mm Spacers. I just liked the way the 15/20mm combo look. ...but that's just me.
Not sure about my offsets. Everything I have is stock right now. Not sure if/how the suspension upgrades would change that? And I thought about the 20/25s but I really don't want to roll my fenders...

Guess what I'm most concerned about is buying all this stuff and finding the car's too low or rubs! Then I figure I'd be stuck....just trying to avoid that.

Thanks,
B

+1 . . . That is an excellent alternative. I love my Basic set-up.

So Tein Basics would give me the 1" drop by themselves? Any pros/cons for those vs. the other setup (springs, shocks, etc.)? A diff in ride quality maybe?

K so I did some more research and I'm leaning heavily toward the Tein Basics + rear camber kit. I suppose the ride will be a bit stiffer but as long as I can get to 1" down that's my main goal. Some handling improvement would be nice too.

Anyway, got a few more Qs:

-what heights are the Tein Basics adjustable to?
-what's the benefit of the front SPC camber kit (sounds like it's unnecessary but I got a good deal available)?

Thanks guys!

Figured I'd let you guys know...here's the setup I went with:

BC Racing coilovers
Eibach rear camber+toe kit
Cusco A-arms

Thanks for all the help getting me up to speed!

With this setup and a 1" drop on OEM Rays' 19s - how big can I go on the spacers without rolling my fenders? I was thinking either 15mm front, 20mm rear or 20mm front, 25mm rear.

Thanks!

Thanks Dave! Ya got any more pics of your wheels with these spacers? And no rubbing wheels or fender rolls right?

not a problem with 15 and 20mms.
Guys are running with 20 and 25 but I think that you have to roll the fenders...

So I'm getting everything installed today, and here are some updates:

My mechanic said the 50mm Nismo studs I got won't work - they're too short. So he put on the H+R's instead. Oh well, guess I'll sell the Nismos on this site!

Also, he said after lowering my car on the BC Racing coilovers he said it looks really good but with those spacers it will probably rub so he said he was going to roll the fenders. I'm not ready to pay for that so I was wondering...should my fenders need any rolling at all with the 15 front/20 rear spacer setup? Maybe I just need to have him raise my car a bit?

If you guys could get back to me by this afternoon I'd appreciate it...heading over to his shop to decide how to proceed in a few hours.

Thanks in advance!
B

PS. I'll post pics of my ride when I get it on Friday!!

you shouldn't need to roll with those spacers. Easy way to check clearance is to jack up one side, stack a bunch of wood underneath the wheel, and then lower the car down onto it, this will simulate suspension compression and allow you to check if it will rub

Thanks as always, redlude.

So I shouldn't rub regardless of ride height on the coilovers?
