Shouldn't. The wheel travels on the same arc of suspension travel whether at stock height or with coilovers, the only chance you have of rubbing is if you get some camber correction and straighten on the wheel too much, but even then I don't think it will rub

Since my installer seems convinced that I'll rub, is there any potential benefit to raising the ride height to alleviate the chance of this happening? Or will it make no difference?

Sorry for the newb questions...I'm still learning about suspensions!

IMO, it will make no difference, it will just mean you will rub less if you raise it because it will take a harder bump to compress the suspension to the same level, but the chance of rubbing is still there regardless of the ride height.

Gotcha...i should also mention he did install the rear Eibach camber/toe kit, and the front Cusco upper A-arms too. Not sure how much correction he's done, but I did ask him to get me back to factory alignment specs though.

If its not too much trouble,(shouldn't be, the rear takes less than 10 mins to take apart), have him remove one of the rear springs from the spring bucket, then move the suspension up and down to check if its going to rub. That will let him bottom out the suspension without too much effort

Hey man,

I have some pics but they're not so hot. I mean, they look good, but I want them to look flawless! I want to take some more after I wash my car and pimp it out this weekend!

Sorry for the wait guys...
