350z Swift Springs

I have an '04 Sedan with sport package. I heard that you can run springs for 350z with this setup. I really like Swift springs and am strongly considering getting them. My questions are, aside from springs and camber kit what other modifications will I need to make to install these springs? Are the spring rate on these springs really safe for this car? Any information that could be passed along will be much appreciated.

Do not install them, not with oem G35 shocks. On the surface it looks like the springs have a spring rate that your oem shocks can deal with. Problem is, the drop amount. The 350Z has oem shocks that are not only stiffer, but 3/4" shorter. That 3/4" amount is critical to help prevent the car from being on and into the bumpstops far too often in everyday driving, let alone aggressive driving. This platform doesn't have ample shock piston stroke (bump stoke) to begin with. If your really bent on getting the springs, kick your oem shocks to the curb and pickup a set of 05+ oem Z shocks or Tokico D-specs. IMO, a better spring choice would be Tein 350Z S-techs, more spring rate to help keep you off the bumpstops.

Tein S-tech 350Z springs .7“.6“ (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear) 1.7"/1.6" drop on sedan
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)

Swift 350Z linear springs .8”/.6” Drop amount on sedan 1.8"/1.6"
Spring rates in LBS 336/364

Thanks for the info. I've been thinking the same thing but really needed confirmation from someone with much more knowledge on the subject. I have Tein's on my other car and they are great springs. So, the 350z Tein will work with no problem?! Thanks again!

As long as you install oem 2005+ Z shocks or Tokico D-spec ment for the Z.

No problem! I went with the swift. they are bit more expensive then Tein but the ride quality doesn't even compare. If your looking an agressive drop that doesn't sacrifice ride quality then these springs are what you are looking for! You will pay a bit more but its worth it! Make sure you get the Tokiko Dspecs as well. I like your username!
