The ones i received are larger in diam & the btm of the strut dont mount the same as my G ?? Were you able to look at the link it has pic

I know... bumping an old thread, blah blah blah...

I got a set of revised springs and shocks from my cousin's 04.5 350Z for my 03.0 non-sport sedan. Also picked up a set of coupe springs because I was planning on using the back two. They were off an 06 Coupe with the sport package.
Turns out the rear springs were identical. red/red/purple and the same length. So apparently the coupe springs aren’t .5 in longer after all.


On a side note:
I’m trying to find some information to help out a guy in this thread:

The springs he has have one red dot and one purple dot… anyone got any ideas on what they’re off of???

sorry to wake a dead thread but after reading many threads...
i realize the following:

1. G coupe 427 rear sport suspension springs are the exact same 350z revised 427 springs.
2. no revision on front springs on 350z as they remain 314.

as such, for a 05+ G35 coupe with sport suspension seeking a minor drop can simply pick up the 350z unrevised or revised front 314 spring and keep the rear 427 G35 springs.

with the 350z 314 front springs, it will drop the G coupe 0.75 inc/ front and one can cut the rear spring mount by 0.75 inch to perfect the drop.

can someone confirm?

What is the best or most economical set of shocks for my 05 sedan? I'm running this z/g combo. I currently have the sport sedan shocks that came oem on this car but shocks r finally giving at 108k miles. Thanks for the help guys!

^From what I've read on the forum, most people are pretty satisfied with Tokico

OK I've searched and searched and this is the closest thread I could find to answer my questions.
I bought a complete f&r suspension from a Z.



I currently have the car on a set of staggered 20" MRR HR2 front tires are 235/35/20 rears are 255/35/20.

I only want to lower front using the Z springs. My question is should I use my red shocks or use the OEM Z shocks the springs came with? Would I need a camber kit? Again, I don't want to touch the rear as I think it doesn't look that bad.

After that drop up front I just want to add a lip and color match sides and lower rear bumper.

It is recommended that you install the entire suspension from the Z so u have matching springs and shocks. I wouldn't recommend you only fit the fronts. It would look odd more so when u have 20s. And no u won't need a camber kit it will only be a mild drop.

Thanks fir the quick reply.

So if u do the rear as well would I have to buy anything for the rear? (To fix camber or toe) Most people who asked that similar question used G rears with aftermarket shocks so I don't know if the suggestions they received apply to me.

If you can get all the Z suspension (Springs and shocks front and rear) then use it.
If you only do the front, it will have too much of a 'rake' and look bad.
Go ahead and buy a pair of camber / toe bolts (same bolt can be used for either, so technically there are 4, but only your camber should be out enough to need them)
Shop around online and find the cheapest price, you can get ripped off from some places.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to have tires that can handle negative camber (Nitto NeoGens work great for this)

Can anybody tell me what kind of drop I will get with Coupe Eibach Pro Kit springs on my 03 Sedan? Riding on 19"staggered rays.
