First G alignment done, what to look for?
Okay, I've had the car a week and passengers noticed a loud sound at low speeds in the front wheel well. Dealer says it's out of alignment and the passenger front is cupped. I look, indeed it is. Get a lifetime alignment this morning and get the results printed. Tech tells me without the camber arms I can't get the car into the factory spec range. (Planned on SPC arms when I go coilovers of course) So here are the annotated results. 06 Coupe on 18s

Could anyone explain to me how adjusting the R side camber more negative helps and why you can't even get into factory spec without extra equip? I've been here before on other cars, just never knew why exactly. Thanks

so no aftermarket suspension is on the car correct? if this is the caseand its still under warrenty there is an underlying problem that is causing your alignment to be out of specs. Have them inspect the components. thers gotta be a reason for it to be out like that.
that's what i was going to say. if the car is new, and you have nothing done to the suspension, whatever part is the faulty one, should be replaced under warranty at the dealer. That will bring the spec back to factory settings. you should not have to pay for anything, nor have to take it to another alignment shop.
Damn, I just took the car to the dealer because of the sound (they said car was fine, tire was cupped and I needed an alignment) so I had it aligned and it's not even in the ballpark of spec on any count. Car has 2 years and 2 months left on warranty. Guess I'm headed back there with my printout. Car is pure stock in all regards.

it looks like those specified ranges are for a sedan - can you confirm whether they used the correct specs? camber should be from -1.5 to +.25 in the front and from -1.75 to -.75 in the rear.

On the printout it says 2006 Sedan and I asked them about that. They told me "All Z car specs are the same, coupe and sedan" Looking at these specs, I'm not too bad off at all. Thanks bigc, that eases the mind.... and questions the alignment shop.

How much did you guys pay for Lifetime and Firestone? I'm assuming it's only applicable on one car, so if you sell your car you have to pay the lifetime fee all over again right?
Locally in UT, Firestone is running a special for $119 for lifetime, so I'll probably take advantage of it...
