Why don't you just get the point? Because right now you aren't making any type of technical sense.

Do you get your wheels rechecked every time you change tires?

Do you get your engine inspected every time you change your oil?

Do you get your injectors cleaned and flow balanced every time you change your gas?

Is there constant wear on all of these items? yes. Point?

what about minor surface cracks?

What about hot spots that will bulge out and yet contain small groves that will be considered OK by dial indicator?

thanks
if you dont feel a vibration when braking just replace the pads,if you feel a brake vibration replace the pads and rotors(our shop hasnt turned on the brake lathe in 3 years, with the price of replacement rotors vs the labor to machine rotors it isnt worth turning them, plus if you machine them they are now thinner and prone to warping....

How can something "bulge out" and NOT be picked up by a dial indicator? Exactly when has a hot spot contained any "groves" that are of any significant concern?

Still not making sense here

How will turning rotors fix that?

Is your claim that rotors will be uneven circumferentially? How will the runout gauge not detect that?

Nothing!

those are great to have on your rotors.

So maybe later they could develop into a large cracks and maybe even a half of your rotor falls of while you driving on the highway and you hit a semi truck carrying some kind of toxic waist and spill that **** all over the freway killing 100 ppl or so.

Cracks are not that important.
