Lowering and Warranty
Re: Lowering and Warranty
It depends.
If you lower the car, terrorize a pot hole, and expect them to repair the suspension, you're out of luck.
If you lower the car, and the radio dies, they'll replace it.
If your modification causes the damage, it's not covered. It's the dealers/manufacturers responsibility to prove that aftermarket modifications caused a problem, or they're required to cover it under warranty. That's the law. In reality, you might have a bit of a struggle to get them to fix something, if it "could have been" damaged by your mods, possibly, but they just can't prove it.
Plus, your dealer probably wants you to wait for the Nismo Spec-R parts to come in so they can install them for you at a premium price. (Of course, that definately would be covered under warranty without hassle.)

Grubbs Infiniti, sells Eibachs as an upgrade on thier website.
So, IF they are charging dealer pirce on them and labor, I would hope they are covered by warranty. After all thier, B&B Exhaust is, so why not thier Eibachs ?

Re: Lowering and Warranty
There is also an act protecting consumers against dealers voiding the warrenty. I forgot hte name of the act but it says that the dealer MUST prove that the issue was caused by the consumers modification before he can void the warrenty..
